Mobile Phones generally cost ?100 to ?300 if you just want the phone. Most people take out a 12 month contract with the phone making it around ?200 cheaper. Contracts are subject to proofs of identification and credit check; calls are billed monthly, as opposed to pre-pay, pre-paid and pay-as-you-go phones
